2008 avenger. The plug-in itself is loose. As if a ignorant monkey just yanked out the plug to his scanner from it. So im sure wires may have broke at plug. It has power, and im able to read voltage, but it wont connect

I have a different question one you probably don’t get a lot and by the way you have proper me cure death wobble and properly correct it I appreciate that I am having trouble with my driver side door window I fixed the wires everything works except for driver window I replaced the motor and and window goodies don’t know what it’s called when I plug the motor in the window goes up and that’s it the motor then over heats so I unplug the switch motor still over heats is my door switch stuck or do I have a crossed wire

After testing the draw ,I would install a 12v bulb between the neg term on battery and neg cable...the lamp lights up,then I could pull fuses myself with no helpers ,just keep bulb in your sight......

04wj 188650 miles. I've actually never seen that pitcular light still attached to the vehicle..

I have an odd one... getting high voltage (even with the ignition off) across the signal wire of the TPS. I trace the wires and it seems like oil is flowing through the wire casing? Maybe from pcv valve failure or something? Going to end up scrapping this 4.0 unless You want to buy it. In Washington. Ran good and still runs but has oil in the wires now and I am having issues finding the short.

I also run kobalt. I've always have had good luck with them. And can't beat the price. Along with the convenience of being able to take back if something goes wrong

Brilliant!! 2019 Honda CRV. In the rust-belt Toronto area. Unbelievably stuck in there! I found a nice course thread screw, heated it up and screwed it in. I pulled it out with a claw hammer. It took some force, but totally held. I would never drill it out and send pieces into the wheel bearing, like some videos. Thanks buddy!!

looks a bit like the under hood light that fell off, sat on the exhaust for a while before hitting the road. I'm in Australia with a 2000 WJ, 4.7 with 60,800 miles, one of the last US imports before they were imported from Austria.

Why don't you remove the platform and fenders, much easier to weld the frame. Never weld on top of rust. And the frame needs to be repaired, you have to try to find a frame so intact that you can weld it properly. And before you start cutting the rusted frame, remember to support the frame.

Thanks for Video. I was able to pass my failed emissions test do to "no power" to the OBD connector. I also avoided having to pay 167 dollars for a diagnostic fee at the local shop. The problem was a blown 10a fuse in the "Room LP" slot. I never would have found it without your video.

You need to add the TJ to that list of jeeps that is the owners to your list. It’s a under hood lamp switch. It comes on when you open the hood. More than likely, somebody had a fire in the carburetor.

'99 WJ, 4.0, 152k miles. Its under hood light is still functional 🤓

As an XJ and YJ guy, my guess is under hood light. My xj is missing it too. 1999 Cherokee XJ Sport 4WD 4DR Flame Red, AMC/Chrysler 242 4.0 inline 6, 282k miles. 1988 Wrangler YJ Laredo 4WD 2DR Cyan Blue, AMC 258 4.2 inline 6, 140k miles 1983 Cherokee SJ Laredo 4WD 2DR Brown, No motor but came with blown AMC 360, Floorboards are rusted out and gone too. Good frame though.

My under hood light came in the back of my 2000 wj 4.0 with 212k miles when I bought it…

Four days I found one of those in an XJ at the Tallahassee pick n pull. It was missing the cover. Now, thanks to this video, I know these came in WJs so I going back this morning to see if the WJs in the lot have one. My girlfriend's TJ needs one.

04 with the 4.0 with 230K plus miles on it, BUT, she's all rotted underneath and won't pass the yearly anymore. And its got some electrical gremlin that keeps killing it dead. IDK what I'm going to do with it, been sitting in the driveway since November.

Just got a 97, did you have to change the oil before running? Mine was gifted when my father passed and not run in a few years. Seems the fuel pump is bad. Parts on the way. Please let me know. And your "Style" is awesome!

My 02 WJ is at 237k, replaced the 4.0 about 3 years ago after piston skirt failure.

Under hood light. My WJ is a 2000 Limited . 4.7 V8 261'000 klm ( Australia ) . I take it it dropped off onto the exhaust .
